They work in a bar called 8bar in Basel (http://www.8bar.ch/). .As I understood, they were having their Girls Sunday Night Out as usual..You see my resoults of another Street Photography Stranger Shooting with Peter and Martin. This time we setup infront of the holy Minster of Basel. You see a side door as Background. Everybody setup their lights and for some time we had like 5 flashes and lightmodifyers standing around, looking quit impressing. It was harder to find a model today, but finally Sirin and Céline were cool enough to model - thank you. Edi - a grayed alpinist, as he says. I ask him to be my model just in front of my office and after a quick chat he agreed. He turned out to by 90+ years old (my eldest model so far) and on his way to his daughter, who is a pedicurist. He told me, that he has been a member of the Swiss Alpen Clup (SAC) since more the 60 years and liked to meet all kind of people from different backgrounds there..Seniority hit him suddenly, something broke and now he is not able to walk around two housecorners, after beeing used to run up the highest mountains for decades. Thank you for sharing your time and giving me a small peak into your life, Edi. .And while talking I managed to take 6 pictures, this one beeing showing interest, friedly- and awareness, what I like...Light: Full sun, cut down with aperture, shutter and ISO, standing in the shade, 430EX with ¼ CTS, 24mm, ETTL trough a white umbrella just left of cam (handheld because of the wind).Post: Removed Tramwires out of the sky, would like to remove tree behind his head but didn't manage nicely, so I left that..

Matthias - on his way home (with a torn fibular-tendon). It get to be known here in Therwil (where a I almost every friday because Lias has 1h of athletics, and I get 1h of strangerportrait hunting) because I explained to Matthias what I do here and he said - Yes, I have seen you before. .Today I thaught there would be no strobist picture - I opened my skyport case and there was no trigger and two receivers misssing - slepping at home in my other bag. So I had to change plans. For some reason I quit unusually had packed to Canon flashes (usually one flash is a Nikon SB26 or so) - so I thaught of having a master and slave (SM Flash :-). I just had to fiddle with the softbox holder to let the 430 see the master and check my position before shooting, so the master hits the slave. The background is building site walkway...Light: 430EX ETTL mastered by a 580EX on camera (not firing), 60cm Softbox with grid (to prevent spill on the background) from 8:00 and ½ CTS, ambient dropped 2-3 stops manual exposuring the camera.

I haven't seen the grafitty until today while looking for a matching background. As you see on his T-Shirt, Rocco is on his way home from work. Stefan - during his very last day of Siwss military service..We (family) met him on the ruine called Guarda Val above Madulain. He is suposed to help to cook for the 160+/- other soldiers arriving tonight. It is a special group called "train" soldiers, who still move around with working horses. This is Kwadwo, blackstar, Kenia Ghana styler..I saw him in the groceries stores while I was looking for some bread. I waited for him to come out and asked him, if he would model - shure. Ivana - the tigress. I met her at the friday - busstation and she was cold. I guess she decided to jump because she likes to move - she is a tennis coach. So here she goes. I really like the intensity of the look and must say, she seems to have alot of talent as a model - we did seven shots and were done.
